The TowPlow is a new and revolutionary snow plow design. Bob Lannert, a Technical Support Engineer with the Missouri Department of Transportation, invented the TowPlow. The Texas Department of Transportation Tyler District is the first DOT to produce a podcast (as far as I can find in podcast directories).

Larry Krantz, the public information officer for the Tyler District, started using podcasts as another means to provide DOT information to the public.

SuperMix is a blend of anti-icing/deicing chemicals. Mark DeVries, the Maintenance Superintendent for the McHenry County Illinois Division of Transportation, developed a system to make SuperMix, that they use for anti-icing and as a pre-wet solution.
